Savanna Portage State Park is a state park of Minnesota, USA, established in 1961 to preserve the historic Savanna Portage, a difficult 6-mile trail connecting the watersheds of the Mississippi River and Lake Superior.

State Forest Campgrounds

Savanna Portage State Park also manages the Hay Lake Campground and Day-Use Area inside the Savanna State Forest. For information on these units, please contact the Savanna Portage State Park office at (218) 419-1500.

Hours

Ranger station/Nature Store hours: Sunday-Wednesday 12:30pm-4:00pm. Thursday-Saturday 10:00am-4:00pm-with a break from noon-12:30pm.
